Every month you will get meditations and mindfulness exercises that focus on an an aspect of mindfulness specific to that month.
1. Observing the breath
The fortnightly meditations and weekly mindfulness exercises in the first month of the membership are about connecting with the breath and watching the breath. Connecting with the breath enables us to calm and ground ourselves in the present moment which is so important to manage and release daily stress.
2. Observing thoughts
This month, it will all be about becoming the observer of your thoughts so you can gain awareness of the kind of thought patterns you have and be able to create a distance between yourself and your thoughts so that they do not cause you stress.
3. Body Awareness
The mindfulness exercises and meditations in month 3 will all help you become aware of the messages that our bodies are telling us to be able to release stress, avoid injury and illness and connect with how we are feeling.
4. Eating Awareness
The mindfulness practices in month 4, will enable you to pay attention to what you eat, how you eat and how it affects you as eating habits can also add to stress. Changing these will also help alleviate stress.
5. Mindfulness in Movement
You will be practicing meditations and exercises that consist of moving and stretching different parts of your body while paying attention to body sensations in order to release stress and bring yourself in the present moment.
6. Outside Awareness
The mindfulness practices in month 6 will enable you to use your senses to become aware of your surroundings, how you feel, and ground you in the present moment. This will help you get out of your head and enjoy more each moment.
7. Responding rather than reacting
If you often react or overreact to situations, it will be very stressful for you. These practices will help you respond rather than react to potentially stressful situations.
8. Being kind to yourself
As we can often be our own harshest judges, and this can of course be stressful, you will get to practice meditations and exercises to be more self-compassionate and kinder to yourself.
9. Being Mindful of Distractions
As these days we can get easily distracted by not only our thoughts but also technology, these practices will help you become aware of distractions, how it impacts on you and others, and bring yourself back to the present moment.
10. Communicating Mindfully
Dealing with other people can be very stressful! This month you will be doing practices to give you more awareness of how you communicate with others, help you really listen to others, be more present and engaged so you can improve your interactions and relationships.
11. Balancing work and home life
In this month, you will get exercises and practices to find more time for yourself and help you achieve a better work-life balance as it is also essential to minimising stress in your life.
12. Mindful living
In the last month, you will get to practice being mindful in more of your daily activities to live more in the present moment.
